Welcome to the 2022-2023 Troop Year! This is the Troop’s 95th Year!

Here’s the TLDR;

1. An exciting program reboot incorporating the best Troop 51 traditions into a building-on-skills Feature Focus format. Every month is a different focus and at the end of the month, a Main Event gives the scouts a chance to use and showcase their skills.

2. We are working hard at recruiting and the goal is to have our Troop enrollment back up to around 40 scouts in two years. We are currently at approximately 25 scouts.

3. “Every Family Helps Commitment”. The troop is too small to have spectator-only families right now. To offer the boys a safe and meaningful experience and have the strong foundation we need to grow the troop, we need every family to step up this year and help in three ways:

—>Every parent does the YPT Training.
—–>Every family has a parent serve on the ScoutMaster Team or Troop Committee
——->Every family has a parent serve as a Merit Badge Counselor
